Covering a wide 8-measurement range, the 4314Mi is an ideal fit for the aerospace, defense, renewable energy, and manufacturing industries. Using a single connector on the front panel for measurements and charging, the 4314Mi prevents the possibility of having the charging adapter connected while using the instrument for measurements. The 4314Mi alone replaces multiple instruments while providing clearer, more useful data for applications involving squib circuits, fuses, release mechanisms, thrust vector motor control, deployment systems, pyrotechnic initiators, primers, and generic circuit continuity testing.

Single Connector
As in the past, safety and reliability have been the fundamental focus throughout the conception, prototyping, and testing process. Externally, the unit is housed in a durable, impact-resistant aluminum case built for both laboratory and field use. Internally, the 4314Mi incorporates our redundant fail-safe, current-limiting network circuitry ensuring the instrument test currents cannot exceed the specified amount, even in the unlikely event of a worst-case component failure.
Additionally, the 4314Mi introduces to the i-Series a single front panel Mil-Std connector for measurements and charging, preventing the possibility of having the charging adapter connected while using the instrument for measurements.
The isolated serial interface allows for remote control of the unit through an RS-232 port on the back panel. Digital signals are transmitted across the isolation barrier using iCoupler technology. Via the interface, the user can fully operate the meter and query measurement and configuration data.
Certificate of Calibration Included
An NIST-traceable Z540.1 certificate of calibration is included with every instrument order. Furthermore, enhanced ISO/IEC 17025 certification is available.
